This section is dedicated to the invention of phonography which is considered a “technological miracle”. People were amazed by this discovery, which came before Lumiere Brothers’ cinema, Marconi’s radiophony and radiotelegraphy. Thanks to phonography, the human voice could be immortalized and passed on.
Thomas Edison was the inventor of phonography which can be considered an ancestor of Cd’s and vinyl. In this section visitors can discover rare collections, for example the Edison TIN FOIL phonograph, dictaphones and gramophones with metal, wood, glass and multicolour trumpets. All these objects are restored and in working order. During guided tours, the owner Cav. Govanni Pelegalli puts them to work, to the great amazement and satisfaction of the guests!!!
